Good days start with good information.

Local Events This Weekend is an independent guide to in-person community events across Orange County and Los Angeles County: markets, fairs, festivals, conventions, public expos, and temporary pop-ups.

How we check events

We use organizer, city, county, and venue sources, show when each listing was checked, and link to the source. Recurring dates are calculated from a published schedule within a limited window. Announced closures override a normal schedule. We do not roll last year's dates forward without current evidence.

What a listing means

A listing is an independent guide entry, not an organizer announcement or guarantee. Details can change after we check them. Confirm date, hours, price, parking, accessibility, age rules, and last-minute cancellations with the official event source before traveling.

Both counties, every category

When we discover an event type in one county, we check for the same type in the other. The directory is growing and is not a complete county calendar. An empty search does not mean no events exist.

Prices and tickets

Free entry may still mean paying for food, parking, or activities. If a price is not confirmed, we say so. Tickets and registration are handled by the organizer; we do not sell them or take payment.

How the guide is funded

Browsing is free. The guide may use display advertising, clearly labeled sponsorships, featured placements, and referral links. Paid placement will not change the source links, event facts, or the order of ordinary search results. Any future sponsored or referral relationship will be identified on the page where it appears.

Changes and corrections

For cancellations, ticket questions, or access arrangements, use the official event link on each listing. For privacy information and site terms, see Privacy and Terms of use.
